Joshua Bauroth
24th District (Rochester, Henrietta, Brighton)

Monroe County Legislator Joshua Bauroth represents the 24th Legislative District, which includes Rochester’s Highland, South Wedge, Swillburg, Mount Hope, and Upper Monroe neighborhoods as well as parts of Brighton and Henrietta. Currently, Joshua serves on the Transportation and Intergovernmental Relations committees. In addition, he serves as the Democratic liaison to the Monroe County Environmental Management Council and the Monroe County Tobacco Asset Securitization Corporation.
Joshua served as President of the Upper Monroe Neighborhood Association for four years, as Co-Chair of the Culver Road Armory Task Force, as well as a board member of the Third Rochester Enterprises Corporation. Joshua is also a founding member of Montessori Academy School #53 Parent Teacher Association.
Professionally, Joshua serves as the Interim Director of the First-Year Enrichment Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology where he has worked since 2003. Joshua earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in 1989 and a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1993. As a parent, homeowner, educator and neighbor, Joshua is committed to representing all of the 24th Legislative District.
Married to Catherine and the proud father of Anastasia and Xavier, Joshua’s family resides in Rochester’s Upper Monroe neighborhood where they are actively involved in the community.
