Monroe County Legislator Dick Beebe represents the 6th District, which includes eastern portions of the Town of Greece along with portions of Charlotte neighborhood in the City of Rochester . Dick was first elected to the Monroe County Legislature in 2007. He currently serves on the Intergovernmental Relations and Public Safety Committees and is also a member of the Environmental Management Council.

 

Dick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the County Legislature . He has served as Mayor, Village Trustee, Fire Chief and President of the Fire Department, as well as Deputy Police Commissioner of the Village Homer, NY. He has led a distinguished career in the public sector, now bringing his knowledge and experience the Legislature. He currently is employed in the private sector at Network Computer Operations for USS-IT/Energy East in Rochester .

 

Dick is also an active member of several community organizations, including the Greece American Legion, Charlotte Community Association, Harbor Merchant's Association, Northgate Neighbors, and is a parishioner at Greece United Methodist Church .

 

Dick and his wife, Tamara, live on Dorsey Road in the Town of Greece . They have two grown children, Rick and Danielle.
